Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA strategy, automation, testing, and quality engineering across complex SaaS and cloud-based applications. The role requires a hands-on technical leader who can work closely with engineering, product, delivery, and business stakeholders while managing and mentoring QA teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QA teams across multiple software projects.

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and QA processes.

• Drive test automation and reduce manual testing through appropriate automation frameworks and tools.

• Perform and oversee functional, integration, regression, performance, and system testing.

• Design and maintain test infrastructure and environments.

• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using tools such as Cypress, Python/Pytest, Postman and BrowserStack.

• Support cloud-based testing and QA environments, particularly within AWS.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD testing pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI.

• Conduct load and performance testing to assess application scalability and stability.

• Establish QA metrics, dashboards, defect tracking and reporting for stakeholders.

• Work closely with Engineering, Product and Delivery teams to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the SDLC.

• Engage with clients and senior stakeholders to communicate testing progress, quality metrics, risks and outcomes.

• Mentor, coach and develop QA engineers and build high-performing teams.

• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and Agile delivery practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience in Software Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering.

• Strong experience managing and mentoring QA teams.

• Hands-on experience with test automation and performance testing.

• Experience with Cypress, Python/Pytest, Postman, BrowserStack or similar tools.

• Strong knowledge of AWS and cloud-based applications.

• Experience with CI/CD, GitLab CI and DevOps practices.

• Programming/scripting experience with Python and JavaScript.

• Experience working with SaaS platforms and APIs.

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, Kanban and Waterfall methodologies.

• Excellent stakeholder, client communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Docker and deployment automation tools.

• Experience testing real-time communication, media, voice/video or API-driven platforms.

• Experience establishing QA processes and frameworks from the ground up.

• Experience working with distributed or cross-functional engineering teams.
